- Painting has been a passion for me for as long as I can remember. I first started with oils and later into my teens tried my hand at acrylics. For sometime after this I did not pick up a paint brush until some 30 years later. My first painting was a watercolour, something I had never ventured into, and found I loved the flow and freedom of this media. My first painting is posted on my blog, this would be the painting of the irises. All my painting are taken from photes that I have taken in my garden or places that I have traveled to.
